Sports Day was a fantastic event, filled with energy, excitement, and lots of fun! The morning saw pupils taking part in a range of field activities including javelin, bowling, long jump, welly wanging, and an obstacle course—showcasing their skills, enthusiasm, and determination. In the afternoon, we were thrilled to welcome so many parents who came to cheer on the children during the races. Highlights included sprints, hurdles, the three-legged race, piggyback race, and the ever-popular egg and spoon race.

Year 1 visited the Morgan Car Factory yesterday and had an amazing time. They explored the factory gaining an insight into the whole process of a unique car being built. Some of the children were truly inspired and came back to create and design the future of the Morgan Car. We may have got soaked but we had a fantastic time.
Friday night’s Swift and Styles concert was an absolute hit, with incredible performances and an electric atmosphere that had everyone singing and dancing along!
Our Year 5 and 6 cricket teams put on an outstanding performance at the recent Eastnor Cricket Tournament! Both teams played with great enthusiasm, skill, and teamwork throughout the day. A special congratulations goes to our Year 6 team, who made it all the way to the final, showcasing their determination and sportsmanship. We’re incredibly proud of all the players for representing our school so brilliantly—well done, teams!

We celebrated VE Day with some 1940s-themed activities. Dressed in red, white and blue, the children took part in traditional wartime games like hopscotch, battleships, and jacks. They learned to sing iconic songs from the era, including Vera Lynn’s “We’ll Meet Again,” and enthusiastically practiced the steps of the Lindy Hop, filling the hall with energy and laughter. The celebration not only brought history to life but also helped the students appreciate the spirit of resilience and joy that marked the end of World War II.
This week in Nursery, the Gingerbread Man has been up to all sorts of exciting adventures! From sneaking through storytime to hiding in unexpected places, he’s been keeping everyone on their toes. The children have had so much fun following his crumbs, solving clues, and helping him escape from imaginary foxes. Who knows where he’ll turn up next?
This week we have been enjoying learning outside the classroom, shared the Easter Story in our church service and the staff even participated in Fire Training!
