Nursery have continued to look out for the signs of Spring.

The whole school have had the opportunity to be in the sunshine, enjoying forest school sessions. The children have continued their exploration of willow, during child-led activities. Their masterpieces have included crowns, flowers and other imaginative creations.

Next week forest school will be having further work done to the site. Please continue to bring in full forest school kit, although some sessions may be on the playground or field.

Year 3 and 4 wowed audiences this week with their fantastic production of Rock Bottom, performing three shows to packed halls. The play was upbeat, funny, and bursting with energy, showcasing the incredible talent and confidence of all the children involved. From enthusiastic singing and lively dancing to colourful costumes and a range of entertaining characters, every moment was a joy to watch. The show also featured some truly fabulous solo performances that had the audience captivated. A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring the production to life and to all who came along to support—what a triumph!

Class 5 enjoyed a wonderful moment in the sunshine this week as they stepped outside to share in a very special occasion. The children created bright, colourful banners and lined up enthusiastically to wave and call out their best wishes to Mrs Luce and her daughter as they passed by the school on their way to church. There was a real sense of excitement and joy as the class cheered on Mrs Luce’s daughter, who was on her way to be married. It was a lovely opportunity for the children to feel part of such a happy milestone, and we would like to extend our warmest congratulations, wishing Mrs Luce’s daughter and her new husband a long and happy marriage.
