Some children from Year 1 and 2 got to visit John Kyrle Highschool and take part in some exciting multi skills activities the children had set up. The children were practicing their throwing, catching, aiming, and balancing skills.

Wrens have also begun their woodworking journey this week, starting with learning how to hammer nails. They did an amazing job of working safely and were incredibly enthusiastic all round! We are really proud of our little woodworkers and are excited to see what they create.

We have had a great week in Nursery!
We have been developing our maths skills by comparing our heights on our wall chart.

This week, year 6 have been enjoying lunch in the sunshine, making the most of the outside space. The children have also been demonstrating their amazing maths vocabulary and grammar understanding by supporting their friends.

Year 5 took part in a COG Art Workshop where they used natural resources, charcoal, and printing. The children created some beautiful artwork and learned some amazing new skills!

Year 6 have been developing their maths skills by practising how to plot co-ordinates accurately.

Early Birds
Early Bird sessions run from 7.30 to 8.40am each day.
Start your day with Early Birds Breakfast Club
Come have your breakfast with us and take part in some mini activities.

To come along please log in to www.parentpay.com where you will find a calendar of ‘bookable events’ including Early Birds (which is referred to within ParentPay as Breakfast Club). The cost is £5 per child per session. For parents who use child care vouchers, we need to process these manually within ParentPay so for this please contact Mr Moon, our Finance Officer, at finance@colwall.hereford.sch.uk
Nightingales
Nightingale sessions run from 3.30 – 4.30 Monday – Friday and 4.30 – 5.30pm Monday – Thursday.
