Our Year 3 and 4 girls’ football team took part in their first tournament last week, and they represented the school brilliantly. Throughout the matches, their greatest strength was the way they supported one another, constantly encouraging their teammates and showing fantastic teamwork on the pitch. The girls also demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, treating the other teams with kindness and respect. During the tournament they developed their ball-handling skills and grew in confidence with every game they played. We are incredibly proud of their effort, attitude and determination

This week we were delighted to welcome the Willow Man to school, who worked with all of our classes to help create a fantastic new willow shelter in our Forest School area. The children had a wonderful time learning new skills as they helped to weave and shape the willow, working together to bring the structure to life. It was a brilliant hands-on experience and there was lots of fun and excitement along the way. You may have seen some of the children coming home proudly wearing their willow crowns after the sessions! We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity, and we’re sure you will all agree that our new Badger Shelter looks absolutely phenomenal.
