Snapshot of the Week

This week we have had lots of cricket fixtures with children from years 3/4 and 5/6 heading over to Eastnor to partake in a cricket festival. All children that attended had a great time learning new skills, being great competitors and working fantastically as a team. Well done to all those that attended.

New friends in Goldfinch Class! We are so grateful to Mrs Ellis for bringing Tilly and Freya to spend their days with us in Year 1. We have loved feeding them, taking them out for cuddles, and learning how to keep our classroom calm and quiet so they feel happy and settled.

Have you seen our caterpillars?  We have been making caterpillar colour patterns. We have been continuing with our butterfly symmetry painting. How many spots does a ladybird have? Take a look at our art work.

In DT this term, we are designing a Tie-dye t-shirt. We have researched tie-dying techniques from around the world and have had a go at making a prototype for our t-shirt, using a spiral or bullseye design.
