Snap Shot of the Week
We have had a busy week in Nursery. We have been done woodwork, investigated the life cycle of frogs, made art rainbows, role play and practiced pencil control. Take a look at everything we have got up to.

We went on a leaf hunt to observe different leaves as part of our new topic on plants this half term.

This week Year 1 made their fruit salad as part of their DT project. Last term, they planned, taste tested and wrote instructions for how to make it. It was lovely to see the children enjoying the practical part of the project. They worked really sensibly, and we had a fantastic afternoon!

This week, Year 6 have been enjoying lunch in the sunshine, making the most of the outside space. The children have also been demonstrating their amazing maths vocabulary and grammar understanding by supporting their friends. They’ve been asking their friends questions such as ‘What comes next?’, ‘What do we need to remember?’ and ‘What do you know about…’ to help them to deepen their own understanding, whilst helping their friend to make sense of something challenging.

The teachers got stuck in this week, preparing the raised beds for Gardening Club. We can’t wait to see what our budding gardeners produces.
