Christmas Lights

We are very proud to have lights designed, last year by our current Year 6s up on display on the village clock. Don’t they look great! Well done year 6.

We are also taking part in the Village Advent Trail. Hopefully, you will have noticed our window and some of the other lovely advent windows appearing around the village.

Thank you to all who attended the Cake Cafe. We hope you enjoyed some tasty treats.

We are now gearing up for our Christmas Bazaar. Thank you to everyone who has donated items so far.

Please let us know if you are able to help out at the event. The more volunteers we have, the more fun we will all have!

The Bazaar will run from 5.30 – 7.30pm on Friday 13th December and will be ready for the children returning from the Panto at 5.15pm.

There will be craft stalls, games, food and a bar. We look forward to seeing you there. Please spread the word to family and friends. All welcome!

Snap shot of the Week

This week, Wrens performed ‘The Sleepy Shepherd Nativity’ with nursery. We are so proud of ourselves and of our friends from nursery. Here are some of the pictures we drew to show our understanding of the story of the birth of Jesus. We also decorated our very own Christmas tree in our home corner. Well done, Wrens!

Year 2 have been creating their Christmas decorations. In art this term, we have been looking at nature and using natural resources to create artwork. This week, Year 2 used twigs and cotton to make their Christmas trees, ready to decorate for the Christmas Bazaar next week!

Clerk to the Governing Body

We are looking for a new Clerk to the Governing Body here at Colwall CofE Primary School and Nursery.  This is a wonderful position for someone looking for part-time work from home (6/10 hours per half term to suit) and who can commit to approximately 4/8 hours attending meetings at the school (2 to 3 meetings per half term)

The position would suit someone who is a strong administrator, has excellent knowledge of word, xls and is digitally savvy.  Full training for the position is given and we are looking for a start date of beginning of January (or earlier) to ensure a full handover.

For an information pack please contact clerk@colwall.hereford.sch.uk
