Snapshot of the week
This week in Wrens, we began creating our own 5-part stories. The children used their incredible imaginations to create their main character and setting. We can’t wait to see what the ‘tiger in the forest’, ‘punk rocker in a doughnut shop’ and Lionel Messi (to name but a few!) get up to on their adventures. It has been wonderful to see the magic and creativity that the children put into their work.Â

Snap Shot of the Week
Last Friday, Year 2 participated in a walking tour of Colwall. We visited lots of different sites around Colwall to learn some facts and history about the beautiful village our school is situated in. We went to the Cricket ground, the Library and park and had a look at Aunt Alice too. Then we walked to the train station, crossed the bridge and spent some time in the shaded nature reserve. Finally, on our way back to school, we stopped at Colwall Park Hotel and talked about the legend of the Giant’s Stone. We had so much fun exploring our local area in the sunshine!

Year 4
As part of their learning in DT, Year 4 have loved planning and making their own smoothie creations along with a smoothie bottle label. Check out these action shots of them chopping and preparing their smoothies.Â
Year 6
After a week working super hard at their SATs, some of our Year 6s went to the Ledbury Tag Rugby Festival today, assisted by some year 5s. Our two teams performed amazingly and came away as winners of the Plate.
What a fantastic week for year 6. We are so proud of you all!
