Snap Shot of the Week
The Year 5/6 cricket team put on an outstanding display at the Hereford Cricket Finals following their unbeaten run last week, which earned them a place in the final round of the tournament. The team showed incredible skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the day, with superb bowling, sharp catching, and confident batting on display. In a nail-biting finish, they narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals by just one run. Despite the close result, the players should be extremely proud of their sterling performance and fantastic team spirit.

Sports Day was a fantastic event, filled with energy, excitement, and lots of fun! The morning saw pupils taking part in a range of field activities including javelin, bowling, long jump, welly wanging, and an obstacle course—showcasing their skills, enthusiasm, and determination. In the afternoon, we were thrilled to welcome so many parents who came to cheer on the children during the races. Highlights included sprints, hurdles, the three-legged race, piggyback race, and the ever-popular egg and spoon race. A huge thank you to all the parents who came to support, and a special shout-out to the Friends for providing much-needed refreshments throughout the afternoon.
We are pleased to announce that with only one point in it Perseverance Hill were the winners of this year’s Sports Day trophy. Well done to all our athletes!
