Snapshot of the week
Do you remember the story of the Gingerbread Man? We have been looking at the story this week. Did you know that the fox tricks the Gingerbread Man? It has been lovely to read a text that so many children were familiar with and very often joined in with the text that they are familiar with. It was also really impressive that they have all been able to share how the characters felt. We have also been making the most of the outside to develop our own Physical Development. So even acted out being Gingerbread Men.
Nursery

Year 1
Year 3
Year 3 have had a fantastic second drama workshop with Becky from the Courtyard this week! We showed her our performance so far and thought about the legacy and impact of the project in our school, coming up with some very exciting and thoughtful ideas! We are so excited and cannot wait for you to see our performance on Wednesday 22nd May at The Courtyard Theatre, Hereford.
Year 5
In our new Science unit, Forces, we have been looking at friction, exploring how the surfaces of objects affect movement. To substantiate our learning, we used jelly cubes and oil to see how the friction decreased because the surface became slippy.
