Key Information
- OPAL volunteer morning – We will be running another OPAL volunteer morning TOMORROW from 9.30am to 12.30pm. The last volunteer morning was a lot of fun, with adults and children all pulling together to make a difference to our school. Breakfast rolls will be provided and plenty of tea and coffee. If anyone has any surplus varnish that they would be will donate, please bring it along with you tomorrow.
- Newspaper donations – Please could we ask for donations of newspapers as props for our Year 6 play. Thank you.

Snapshot of the Week
A cheeky creature dropped by year 1 this week to leave us some clues as to who they might be. We became creature detectives and looked at the clues, then collected ideas of what they look like, and where they might live. This was all part of the hook for our new English text ‘Mischievous Monkeys’.

Our Year 4 class recently enjoyed a fascinating visit to the wildflower meadows at Luggs Mill, where they joined the Colwall Orchard Group for an outdoor learning experience. The volunteers shared their wealth of knowledge about the wide variety of plants and wildlife thriving in this beautiful local oasis. Pupils explored the meadows, learned how different species depend on this unique habitat, and discovered the importance of protecting and nurturing natural environments. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn firsthand about biodiversity and appreciate the rich wildlife on our doorstep.
