Orchard Group Assembly
This afternoon we welcomed volunteers from Colwall Orchard Group to our assembly to thank them for all the hard work that they have put in over the summer to help re-seed and improve our forest school area. They presented us with a beautiful batik that we are honoured to be the custodians of.
Thank you for bringing your edible treats in to school to help us with our fundraising for our Christmas Bazaar.
As a school staff team, we have decided to organise a Christmas Bazaar which will provide both fun and games for the children and also some shopping opportunities to pick up some Christmas goodies.
All proceeds from this event is being transferred towards the Outdoor Classroom project in the hope of reaching the target and getting it built this academic year!
Next week we are requesting donations for ‘Books, Games and Cuddly Toys’.

Thank you to everyone who came in to the Welly Swap. We hope that this will mean that everyone now has a pair of wellies in school. Forest School here we come!
Snap shot of the week
This week in Year 2, we had fun learning all about monarchs in the Stuart period. Year 2 made fact files for the Stuart monarch they had chosen to research.

Clerk to the Governing Body
We are looking for a new Clerk to the Governing Body here at Colwall CofE Primary School and Nursery. This is a wonderful position for someone looking for part-time work from home (6/10 hours per half term to suit) and who can commit to approximately 4/8 hours attending meetings at the school (2 to 3 meetings per half term)
The position would suit someone who is a strong administrator, has excellent knowledge of word, xls and is digitally savvy. Full training for the position is given and we are looking for a start date of beginning of January (or earlier) to ensure a full handover.
For an information pack please contact clerk@colwall.hereford.sch.uk
