We are incredibly proud of our Year 5 and 6 pupils, who wowed audiences with their fabulous production of Annie. From the energetic choreography and heartfelt solos to the brilliant acting and backstage teamwork, every child brought something special to the performance.
We celebrated VE Day with some 1940s-themed activities. Dressed in red, white and blue, the children took part in traditional wartime games like hopscotch, battleships, and jacks. They learned to sing iconic songs from the era, including Vera Lynn’s “We’ll Meet Again,” and enthusiastically practiced the steps of the Lindy Hop, filling the hall with energy and laughter. The celebration not only brought history to life but also helped the students appreciate the spirit of resilience and joy that marked the end of World War II.
Year 6 have impressed Miss Clarke with their excellent gymnastic skills. So far, we’ve explored rolls, counterbalances, and jumps.
To celebrate National Storytelling Week, our nursery children and Wrens have been delighting in sharing books together and exploring the magic of stories.
