Early Years Outdoor Area Project
We are raising funds to help transform our Early Years Outdoor Area to create an inspiring environment where they can explore, play and be creative. You may have seen our totaliser on the Plaza today.
We would like to say a massive thank you to Malvern Law, Picton – Old Court Nurseries, Kitcat Legal and Lockley Homes for setting us off to a brilliant start!
If you know any one else who might like to help us reach our goal, please do get in touch!

Wrens
Wrens have been doing incredibly well with developing their ball skills. They were delighted with their 100% success rate for goals scored past Mrs Ellis!

Spectacular Sports
Year 2 have been looking at sending and receiving in PE. Today we focused on balance and control whilst sending and receiving a ball with out feet. Here’s a look at some of our activities…
We started by balancing cones on different parts of our bodies to practice balance and control.
We then moved to passing in pairs, stopping the ball before kicking it so that we have more control over it.
We also had a little practice at shooting/being in goal to practice precision!
The children were all super duper at working in pairs and small groups and practicing and developing their skills. Well done Year 2!

Year 5
We have had a great week couple of weeks in Year 5! We have been working on our team building skills by building obstacle courses and guiding people through it, making cards for others, and building spaghetti and marshmallow bridges! Last Friday we went to The Cube to listen to Onjali Raúf talk about her writing experiences and the importance of sharing voices which are often overlooked.
World Book Day!
We had so much fun on World Book Day! There were so many wonderful costumes. We enjoyed seeing the favourite book characters of both the children and teachers. The children also had a fabulous surprise waiting for them, when they came in to find that their classroom doors had been decorated in the style of their class book.
