Remembrance
This week, our school community came together to mark Remembrance Day with respect and gratitude. Students who are members of the Scouting and Girl Guiding community proudly wore their uniforms, and we sold poppies both in school and on the plaza to support the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. Thank you to everyone who contributed so generously. We are also incredibly proud of Grace in Year 6, who represented the school at the Remembrance service at St James’ Church and delivered a beautiful and heartfelt reading.

Wrens took great care in creating their poppies for Remembrance. We were very proud of their hard work to make something special to remember those who have helped us.

On Monday, Year 5 visited Chedworth Roman Villa to conclude our recent history topic. We had a wonderful time seeing the remains of the Villa, including imagining what life would have been like all those years ago. The children spent some time exploring some replica artefacts and learning lots about Roman ways!
