Snap shot of the week – Wrens

In Wrens this week, we have been considering things we are thankful for. We talked about our families, friends, animals, water and the world! The children took great care creating their thankful hearts and enjoyed sharing their thoughts with one another. Thank you to Miss Greenfield, (our trainee teacher) for such a wonderful activity.

Snap Shot of the Week

Year 1 visited the Morgan Car Factory yesterday and had an amazing time. They explored the factory gaining an insight into the whole process of a unique car being built. Some of the children were truly inspired and came back to create and design the future of the Morgan Car. We may have got soaked but we had a fantastic time.

Did you know that there is a type of chicken called a Polish Chicken and it has feathers on the top of its head like a pompom! We have been exploring chickens, patterns, weather and making up our own five-part stories.

Snap shot of the week – Forest School

This Thursday, Year 5 showed fantastic resilience and enthusiasm during Forest School, despite the extremely wet conditions! The rain certainly didn’t dampen their spirits — in fact, it added to the adventure. The children embraced the opportunity to get muddy, splashing through puddles, building shelters and exploring the outdoors together. It was wonderful to see them working as a team, using their creativity and enjoying nature in all its soggy glory. A huge well done to Year 5 for showing such courage and curiosity!
