- Parking – Please do not park on the grass verges outside of the school and village hall car parks. This reduces the visibility for drivers leaving the car park and has almost resulted in an accident this week.

Snapshot of the Week
Nightingales welcomed some very special visitors this week – our wonderful guinea pigs!
The guinea pigs are an important part of the Colwall family and bring so much joy to our school community. They help us learn how to care for living things by teaching us about kindness, responsibility and gentle handling. Looking after them reminds us that all animals need love, attention and respect.
Our furry friends also have a very special way of making us feel happy. They can cheer us up when we are feeling sad, make us laugh with their funny personalities and curious squeaks, and provide the best cuddles when we need a little comfort.
The children have loved spending time with the guinea pigs, observing them, talking to them and learning more about their needs. These special visits help us develop empathy, confidence and a deeper understanding of the world around us.

Snapshot of the week
A huge thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who supported our recent OPAL Volunteer Morning. It was a fun, productive, and rewarding morning, with volunteers helping to repair, clean, tidy, and build across our outdoor spaces. The children may already have told you about our fantastic new tyre trail, which has been a big hit, and they have also been enjoying our newly recategorised resources. Thanks to the hard work and enthusiasm of everyone involved, our outside areas continue to grow and improve. Our volunteers certainly earned their breakfast baps after all their efforts!
OPAL
Snapshot of the Week
Wrens have begun their learning about bees this week. We have listened to Flight of the Bumblebee by Rimsky-Korsakov and shared lots of bee books. This afternoon, we enjoyed being photographers; we pretended to be bees and took some of our own close-up photographs of favourite flowers in the grounds. We are very impressed with our pictures!
