Carols at the Cafe
Thank you to all who attended the carol singing at Morso. It was a lovely Christmassy evening and the children gave a beautiful performance and were rewarded with pizza, sausage rolls, soup and mince pies. We are so lucky to be surrounded by such a wonderful village community
Fireside Nativity
Year 1 and 2 wowed audiences this week with their critically acclaimed performance of ‘Fireside Nativity’. They have worked so hard over the past half term, learning songs, dances, lines and cues and have approached every rehearsal with determination and hard work. Miss Jones and Miss Chambers are so proud of what they achieved and the confidence with which they performed. One audience member said ‘those songs were sung so beautifully, I was quite tearful’, and another was astounded that they had managed to learn so many lines and song words in such a short amount of time! Well done Year 1 and 2, you are fantastic!
Christmas Lights
We are very proud to have lights designed, last year by our current Year 6s up on display on the village clock. Don’t they look great! Well done year 6.
We are also taking part in the Village Advent Trail. Hopefully, you will have noticed our window and some of the other lovely advent windows appearing around the village.
Clerk to the Governing Body
We are looking for a new Clerk to the Governing Body here at Colwall CofE Primary School and Nursery. This is a wonderful position for someone looking for part-time work from home (6/10 hours per half term to suit) and who can commit to approximately 4/8 hours attending meetings at the school (2 to 3 meetings per half term)
The position would suit someone who is a strong administrator, has excellent knowledge of word, xls and is digitally savvy. Full training for the position is given and we are looking for a start date of beginning of January (or earlier) to ensure a full handover.
For an information pack please contact clerk@colwall.hereford.sch.uk
