Snap Shot of the Week
This week, Year 5 headed off to Boundless Outdoors to participate in an outdoor activity day. We completed the Zip Line, Low Ropes, Night Line and Tunnels. We had a fabulous day, where every member of the class showed all three of our school values! They were supportive, encouraging and brave – what amazing adventurers they are!

Snap Shot of the Week
This week in Golden Eagles, we have completed a practical investigation linked to our science topic of evolution and inheritance. Inspired by Darwin’s research about the types of beaks on the finches on the Galapagos Islands, we investigated which type of beak was better to suited to collecting each type of food source using scissors, pegs and spoons as beaks and cocktail sticks, pasta and cubes as seeds. Once we collected our data, the children found the mean result before writing up their investigation and drawing a graph of their results. Great work Year 6!
