Key Information

  • Late arrivals – We have noticed that there are several children repeatedly arriving late to school. School start time is at 8.45am, by which time children should be in their classrooms ready to start the day. Late arrivals cause disruption to other pupils and can be unsettling. Thank you for your co-operation with this.
  • Forest School – Forest School are looking for donations of wood and nails to make bird feeders with some classes.
  • Nativity Photos and USB – The order form for Nativity Photos and USBs has now been sent out on MCAS. Photos will be available to view on a board by the office after the Year 1/2 Nativity.
  • Payment Reminder – If you have not already made payment for the Panto, please go to MCAS to do so now. Contributions are voluntary but if not enough are forthcoming we may have to cancel the trip.

Snap Shot of the Week

This week, year 6 have been making progress with their art unit ‘2D drawing to 3D making’. They have used the grid method to draw enlarged silhouettes of their favourite animals, cut these out of paper and then have used these as a template to create a copy out of cardboard. The children have been determined to overcome the challenges that came with measuring, scaling up and cutting a large shape out of cardboard – great work year 6!

Snap Shot of the Week

This week in dance club, KS1 children have been working on their balancing, skipping and marching using a high knee. They had a go at testing out if their leg was in the correct position by balancing an object on their leg. The children also explored balances with a partner, creating some amazing shapes! Well done dance club.
