Snap Shot of the Week
It has been so lovely to see the familiar faces returning to our Nest family. It has also been so wonderful to welcome some new fledglings into the Nest. Our focus for this half-term is becoming familiar with nursery, making friends and new beginnings and every child has in their own way embraced this this week. We have seen co-operation building structures and playing games. Children have been exploring the new areas and resources in The Nest and trying new experiences such as our snack cafe.

We are so proud of our new Wrens who are settling in brilliantly! As we learn about ‘belonging’, we have been creating our family portraits using loose parts. What a creative bunch!

Keeping Children Safe Online
The latest update to Keeping Children Safe in Education now recognises misinformation, disinformation and conspiracy theories as safeguarding concerns. These can feel very convincing when shared by persuasive influencers or dramatic online videos.
This week’s Wake Up Wednesday guide explains the risks – such as isolation, anxiety, and exposure to harmful content – and how conspiracy theories can undermine children’s critical thinking and trust in reliable sources. It also offers practical tips to help parents encourage curiosity, healthy scepticism, and safe digital habits.
