Key Information
- Flu Consent – If you have not already done so please remember to consent to the flu vaccination via the link sent out by email
- Arrival time – Please remember that the school gates now close in the morning at 8.45am. Children arriving after this time must be accompanied to the school office to sign in.
- My First Five Years at School – Please see below a link to a National App that enables you to explore and understand your child’s development in their first 5 years of life.
www.mffy.com - School Lunches – Please book in School Lunches by midnight on Wednesday the week before on MCAS. Anyone who does not order by this deadline will have to provide their child with pack lunches, as the extra administrative work in booking and keeping track of late orders is very time consuming.
- Nursery Lunches – We shall continue to use the link sent to you via email.
- Rag Bin – We have a rag recycling bin in the school car park that you are welcome to use to recycle any torn or old clothing or material that is no longer usable. Please keep clothing that can still be worn for our Rags to Riches collection in the Spring.

Snap Shot of the Week
We have been looking at endoskeletons and exoskeletons in Science this week and the children have made some fantastic observational drawings and connections between their knowledge of the animal and its bones.
Year 3
Book of the Month
I
Every month in Year 6, Mr Bradford buys a new book to share with the class. After reading the first chapter, any children who would like to borrow the book get their names put in a hat and the winner gets to read the book first.
The month’s book is Safiyyah’s War by Hiba Noor Khan. Focussing on the experiences of a small group of individuals, Safiyyahâs story shines a spotlight on an under-recognised pocket of resistance from World War II when hundreds of Jews were led to safety via underground passages from the Grand Mosque in Paris.
Bella was the lucky recipient of the book this month – we hope you enjoy it!
